ABOUT ME

I am a reflexologist, reiki practititioner and massage therapist with over 30 years experience.

Since relocating to North Wales I am delighted to be able to offer reflexology treatments at  Back To Health

working alongside chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists and holistic therapists.

This company has built up an outstanding reputation for providing musculoskeletal and holisitic healthcare from their three clinics in Mold, Wrexham and Chester and I am able to offer appointments in Mold and Wrexham.

In addition I  offer a mobile service to those who prefer a treatment in  the comfort of their own home, or for those in residential care.

I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR) and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and my details can be found on their registers. These memberships give you peace of mind that you are seeing a professional therapist. You may also be able to claim your fees back, dependant upon your medical insurance policy.

I am an approved Reflexology Lymph Drainage Practitioner, and my details appear on the RLD Register *

My complementary healthcare path started in Croydon in 1992, where I studied anatomy, physiology and massage at the Renbardou Beauty and Complementary Therapies Centre, with the inspirational Renee Tanner. I then taught anatomy and physiology there before moving to work with Jean Frances as a massage therapist at the David Lloyd Centre in Wimbledon. During my time there I was lucky enough to be part of the team providing treatments for the tennis players at Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

My introduction to reflexology took place whilst I was with Renee Tanner, and I was finally able to study this amazing complementary therapy when I relocated back up to Cheshire where I had my own massage therapy business. I studied and qualified in  clinical reflexology with Anne Hammond in Knutsford, being accepted on the last intake before she retired from teaching.

Having studied with Anne, my interest in reflexology turned into a passion, and I offered clinical reflexology alongside my massage treatments. The amazing connection achieved with clients through reflexology and relaxation massage led me to wanting to experience and understand more about working with energy. After careful research I chose Simon Bailey at Navitas in Crewe to receive Level 1, 2 and Reiki Master teaching. This addition enhanced my ‘toolbox’ immeasurably and I am so grateful to have had Simon’s amazing guidance.

Having read many of Sally Kay's publications and research I was very excited to be part of her pilot training for Reflexology Lymph Drainage for autoimmune disorders and find this treatment to be extremely popular and another invaluable tool in supporting those when they need it most.

The satisfaction of working with a client to help them achieve  results is still a huge privilege for me, and the power of deep relaxation never ceases to amaze me.

I feel very lucky to be able to work as a reflexologist and, after 30 years in the world of Complementary Therapy love that there is always so much more to learn.
